Is it true that Giving gripe water to baby will help in gaining weight ? Elders at home keep telling me to give gripe water to my baby who is 6 months old, so that it will increase my baby’s weight.

A. not help in wt. gain. . . .Recommend not to give Gripe water because it can some times result in infection . Moreover if baby is having gases discomfort you can deal it by doing tummy time for him. Massaging the tummy in gentle circular motion . Doing leg peddling exercises. Giving gastica drops or Himalaya bonnisan drops.
