This is something which is ingrained in the women’s psych that you are doing injustice to your child. If you’re away doing a job or doing your own personal work, but at the end of the day, you are also a human.
With the pros and cons of you to work or not to work, which one has a need and which one is the want. if you’re feeling too guilt about working and you might not be able to concentrate, then maybe you can extend your leave or postpone your joining for a couple of months. Still, somehow you need to take a call about what you really need to do. Just remember, nothing and no one can separate a mother and a child far away working for sometime. But at the end of the day, you will come home to your child.
