Q.
Is it normal for the baby to get up and try to sit even before turning and lying on its stomach? Baby is a girl and she is into her 7th month. #asktheexpert

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. it is ok for baby to do .There is no need to panic for this as it is normal in babies at this age . But if the problem exist for a longer time or you feel there is some other issue then a doctor should be consult near by for same .

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently anhfd sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
