is cow milk is safe for my 5months old baby

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. no not before 6. Mother feeding should be exclusive at least till 6 month of age of not directly then expressed milk can be tried. If not possible then milk formula should be given with proper dilution . After 6 month can start with top feed along with cow milk .

Cow milk is not recommended for the babies below one year. It is high in protein so difficult for the baby to digest it.. Mother should exclusive breast feed her baby till six months. Take care
