Q.
In november i test my hba1c and it is 5.5. In december i did a pregnancy test and i was positive. so i went to the doctor for checkup took a random test and it was 100 mg/dl. Is there a chance i could get gestational diabetes?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. The HbA1c is not elevated and Random blood sugar is also not a predictive of if you will develop gestational diabetes or not. Only were doing GTT at 16 weeks and 24 weeks we can find out.Write Your Answer Here
