Q.

in my 1yr 3 months old baby having fever and vomiting is this due to teething as I can see 2-3 teeths are coming in her mouth

A. after 2 episodes of vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis kindly give paracetamol for fever and it is given according to the weight as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having. whether higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p)are required or not will be told by the doctorz. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever do body spongez and give plenty of water to drink and easily digestible food.
