A. You can take any medication for urself 
It does not have any bad effect on ur baby 
Take medication as per ur doctors advice 
Keep urself well hydrated 
Continue to give exclusive breast feed ur baby as per baby's demand 
Stay with ur baby only 
It will help.

No need to give anything  except vitamin D3 drops, if baby is on exclusive breast feed.  
Continue with exclusive breast feed ur baby till completing 6months of age. 
It will help. 
Give vit D 3 drops 400 IU per day till 1yr of age.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. It is necessary for the mother to take iron and calcium supplements upto six months post pregnancy. Some may have to continue it for even longer periods based on their health condition and gynecologist advice.
