Q.

i was exclusively breastfeeding my child for the last 9 months with direct feeding and pumping sessions as I am a working mother. also started solids at 6 months. now she is 9 months plus. can I wean her from breastfeeding? as it is tiresome to pump. can I only feed her when I am with her? will all this affect my feed?

A. Hello dear parent, yes if you wish to wean off breast feeding then there is no problem. It is mandatory to breast feed the baby for first 6 months of baby's life as g hat helps gain immunity to the baby. After that it is totally mother's choice whether to continue or not. Good luck and take care
