I need to know the reasons why babies sometimes doesn't poop much?

Author of questionMom of a 1 yr 6 m old girl1 Year agoA. my daughter used to poop for every feeding before...but from yesterday onwards she only poop for 2times........is this okay or should I consult a doctor...why this happens?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been startedhh after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of gage . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. By the time they're about a month old, babies are pretty good at absorbing all the breast milk they drink. As such, they may pass a few soft stools each day or just one soft stool every few days. Some babies don't poop for up to two weeks, and that's still considered normal
