Q.
I m having pain in nipples while breastfeeding from one week, it's not dry but sharp pain when baby sucks. my baby is 7 months old. May I know reason and treatment?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. can be neurogenic painAnd apply nipcare ointment on the nipple. c for further advise and information in this regard it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination physically and if all required any investigations also and proper management

Pain can be due to sore nipples.
Apply nip care ointment to get relief.
If pain is too much then u can feed with babyhug nipple shield for few days ..
