I m a latent tb patient.. Can I feed my baby... I m on medication

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. whenever the mother is having tuberculosis and his own medicine in the child is also given prophylaxis tuberculosis medicine so you can give breastfeeding but at the same time one TB medicine has to be started for the child also so hope it is going on since birth

Yes u can feed ur baby. There is no problem in that. U must have told ur doctor that u are breastfeeding mother.. As the medicine is given according to that that are safe to take during breastfeeding. Take care
