Q.
I m 37weeks pregnant now...Today when I had AFI and EFW scan ,it's showing that weight of the baby is only 2.2kgs..,where it should be 2.5+ kgs actually.. everything was fine till last growth scan..,what could be the reason for this sudden slow growth,. Because of this my doctor is suggesting early delivery..is this normal?? can my baby weight gain in upcoming weeks??Should I opt for delivery now?pls suggest

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. thats low. iugr. In such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusionbetter to show to a specialist and get the right opinion as soon as you can.

Its Just a matter of two more weeks I will suggest you to go ahead with waiting wait up till full nine months and then you go ahead with your delivery have really good amount of protein in these two weeks and see if the weight increases because that really helps sometimes a lot
