Q.

I have inserted Mirena IUD on June previous year, irregular periods used to be there but fir the past 3 months I have not periods at all? is it fine or a thing to concern

A. there can be chances of irregular periods. b b for further advise and information in this regard it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination physically and if all required any investigations also and proper management

A. IUDs can affect a person's period in several ways. Both types of IUD can cause heavy or irregular bleeding immediately after insertion. Any additional menstrual changes and symptoms a female experiences will depend mainly on the type of IUD. Those who have a hormonal IUD may experience lighter or irregular periods.
