Q.
I have a pituary tumor of 6mm ,before getting pregnant my prolactin level was normal by the intake of cabergolin, now i have delivered baby , sometimes i get headache, as a mother i feel not to take any tablet of cabergoline..what shall i do ? any one who has similar issue?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. I think it is better that you consult a neurologist because head ache is also a symptom and we need to know if the tumour has reduced or not and if it requires any intervention

Cabergoline causes a marked drop in prolactin, such that the milk supply drops precipitously, no matter how far along the mother is postpartum.
