ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear parent, weight of 6 kg is a normal weight for 4 months old baby, do not worry. You should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. That’s the most healthy way to gain weight. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain. Introduce top food after 6 months.

AnkitaGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. Hi! Your baby weight is fine. As doctors recommended 6months is the best to start feeding food to the baby! Till than exclusively Brestfeed your baby! Or if your baby is on bottle feed than you need to speak to your doctor.

Pranita TripathiMom of a 3 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. Hi
My 5 months old baby girl is suffering from diarrhea since 20th june. She was doing loose poops more than 6 times so we have visited to peditration and she has prescribed colicaid for 3 days and enterolife aqua for 5 days. We have also sone the stool and urine test where she found some infections so she has prescribed bifilac probiotic and antibiotic for 5 days but still she poops 4-5 times in day.
I know 4-5 times poops is fine but she is doing watery poops just like infected one and not gaining weight too.
I attached the test report and requesting to help me on this.
