I have 4 month old baby boy. his birth weight is 2.9kg and his current weight is 5.9kg. is this ok???

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear parent, weight of 5.9 kg is a normal weight for 4 months old baby considering a birth weight of 2.9 kg. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months or earlier.

Yes the weight of ur baby is pretty good. Ideally the weight gets double the birth weight by five months. Exclusive breastfeed ur baby till six months. Take care and all the best
