I have 2 questions 1. I am a lactating mom having prolonged periods.My daughter is 9month .Is it normal to have prolonged period. 2.can I consume spearmint tea and cinnamon water.does it have any effect on baby

A. After giving birth, some mothers have heavier, longer, or more painful periods. These changes may relate to a larger uterine cavity causing more endometrium to shed.So, don't panic; simply speak with your doctor and have a scan to make sure there aren't any cysts or fibroids in your uterus or overy.You can take medication to stop bleeding. Although cinnamon is known to boost breast milk, some research indicates that it is best to avoid it while nursing.
