as per my  opinion,Instead of giving such commercial food products,it would be better to offer homemade healthy food.
you can offer milk with honey, milk with dry fruits etc
it is much more safe.
for hair:

apply coconut oil daily on your child hair
wash your child's hair with mild shampoo.

better to put breaks in between.See in such cases the child needs specialist care always. So try to follow with the same doctor and do not get anxious with s variety of opinion. Focus on treatment ok.
