Q.

i am a mom of a 2 months old baby. i have been having sore and cracked nipples since a week. the cracks have turned into a wound now. i am using Nipcare cream but healing is limited. I have also noticed small red bumps on my nipples. should I continue breastfeeding or find an alternative?

A. always apply breast milk over your nipple before feeding sessions and apply nipcare after feeding sessions.. if there's wound then visit your gynaecologist for antibiotics. try feeding from one side for next 24-48 hours but pumping from both sides is important

A. Hello ma’am If your nipples are paining while breastfeeding you can express the feed with the help of a breast pump and give it to your child and instead of any other cream I would advise you to start applying Boroline anti septic cream onto your cracks and just cover it with the cabbage leaf and leave it overnight and whenever you have to feed the baby just clean it properly before you feed the baby I am sure this home remedy will definitely help you
