Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast mdilk or formula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradualxly increased up till at least three meals in a day

It Would be interesting for you to know that kids take a lot of time to settle down with new food that you are giving so when you begin with semisolid food if your child even except 4 to 5 whites one time in any mail then you should consider yourself lucky because he is a very fussy slowly gradually once they get used to the flavour and food you are giving them the appetite for food is going to increase
