Whether the child should be fed initially every two hours as per what your doctors advised you go ahead with that and for the mother it is best that she takes complete rest for at least 30 days not do any household work as such not heavy lifting and all she should also have proper rest proper sleep and she should eat healthy food and special which is home-made and with little less spices than usual that is going to be just good enough and increase the intake of liquid and proteins for the mother
