Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site. f
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.x
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

Thermophob cream you can apply prior to that do whole sponging by keeping some ice so that it is going to help in settling down the swelling after that you can apply this tube you can do it four times it is going to be good if there is pain or irritation without fever also you can give paracetamol to the child every six hours
