Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl3 years agoA. it is a gradual process .Food full of green leafy vegetable and fruit contains most of vitamin and protein sources like paneer soyabean or egg . It is required for proper weight and height gain and also for boosting immunity and good skin and hairs . Protein powder like pediasure can be given to baby after 2 yr of age .

You Can replace your breastfeeding with water and milk because that’s the only thing that you can quit breastfeeding that way because a lot of kids do wake up till the age of 1 1/2 years to take a feed in the middle of the night to replace it with bottle feed if you need to
