You can give the baby semi solid and mashed consistency foods, were in ghee can be inlcuded in his meals, as well.

As baby is 6 months old you can start semi solid foods once or twice a day rest of the day milk.
Fruit,vegetable puriees - Mashed banana,boiled and mashed carrot,potato,apple,beans ,cerelac,porridges (sooji,dalia,ragi) after checking suitability to baby.
Initially small banana,small apple or half big apple,one potato,carrot,hand full beans,one spoon sooji,dalia,ragi start and check digestion capability then gradually increase quantity...
