how to control kids and make them understand when they are shouting and screaming

for that ,you first stop scolding or yelling at your child.
don't raise your voice while talking with your child.
keep your tone firm
don't shout or argue with others especially infront of your child.
play different games like who can speak slowly and politely or whispering in ears
whenever your child shout tell him firmly that you can not listen what he says ,if he tell this politely then you can listen.
it will help to make your child understand that shouting not work
