Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. this is a normal reflex in the babies of this age you should not try to force the baby to stop it it will go with age but if it does not then you have to worry when complete it has come in the mouth because it causes bad effect on the teeth

Because thumb sucking makes babies feel secure, some babies might eventually develop a habit of thumb sucking when they're in need of soothing or going to sleep.
