A. weaning has three stages in which it can be started .
stage 1 consists of introduction of semi solid food which is done at 5 to 6 months of age . it should be given gradually.
stage 2 consists of more textured and new taste to baby by 7 months of agre
stage 3 in which a more variety of food can be started by 9-12 months of age...

A. Slowly introduce vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, green peas and pumpkin. Offer fish like tuna, salmon, rohu etc. Fish can be given to babies in the form of puree or soup. You can offer a single cube of tofu or paneer and if the kid is not allergic, you can introduce one more cube after a week. Offer chicken in pureed form or soup. You can also offer chicken broth. You can offer cheese and one boiled egg yolk per day. Offer yoghurt made from cow's milk.

A. You can give fruits like papaya, apple, banana, chikoo, kiwi, strawberries, pomegranates. Cut fruits in the shape of long cubes and offer as finger foods. Give small cubes of steamed vegetables. Add veggies to khichdi or make a steamed vegetable bowl.
