Q.

Hlooo… My son is around 2.4 years old and has iron deficiency(HB is 10.5)… i ve given him dexorage syrup… but now he eats very less since i ve started the iron medication… is this condition is anywhere linked to the iron syrup i m giving him…and if yes what is the other alternative for this thing

A. no connection with iron supplements. if he is eating less than Give your baby small meals with high calories, high dense, high protein diet at regular intervals. give daily one date.

A. If Having low level of haemoglobin then you have to give iron supplement it helps in boosting up the appetite of the child and never reduces the appetite of the child so if you think that this one particular drop is not suiting then you can ask your doctor to change the drops
