hii mam/sir, my sister's baby birth weight 2.5, she's 4 months 24 days old, now 4.700 weight it's enough or what? pls tell me

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. yeah baby will be having two times the birth weight by the end of 5 months of age Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination of the baby physically and if there is need to do any investigations if required

Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly and according to baby’s birth weight babies weight is totally fine and you should not worry about it at all. Baby should be totally on mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else till six months
