kindly apply moisturizing lotion (any good brand like atogla, venussia, oliatum, sebamed , citaphil etc ) or virgin coconut oil on the skin  4 to 5 times per day and if the problem still continues for more than two weeks then meet your doctor. 
use moisturizing soap.
do not apply any type of cream lotion or powder which is causing allergy on the skin.
avoid using hard water for bath.
for excessive dry and skin peeling please apply moisturizing cream / lotion at more frequent interval to control the condition and then decrease the frequency.

whenever you are choosing any baby product whether it is baby oil lotion soap powder shampood or any product, you have to see whether the child is having any allergy after its usaged or not. 
so if the child is comfortable you can use it but if the child develops allergy or any other problem then go for another brand.
