Q.

hi sir my daughter is suffering with cold cough n fever since 4 days .I have been using ibugesic plus n levolin and now t minic..every night she gets high fever.. please suggest something

A. your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give only symptomatic treatment that is for fever have to give paracetamol(max 4 times pedr day if needed) and plenty of water to drink and at least 60 to 70% of the regular diet and if the fever continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctor please do body sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.

A. You should go for a blood test because the fever is very high and the medicine that you are giving for fever the paracetamol medicine is not advisable to be given without doctors advice as it can lead to reduce of platelets are given on a regular basis you need to consult your doctor for further assessment
