A. It’s common for some 3-month-old babies to sweat more, especially on the back of the head and back, as their sweat glands develop and regulate body temperature. However, straining to pass urine is not typical and could indicate a urinary tract issue or discomfort. It’s important to consult your pediatrician promptly to check for any infection or other causes, especially if the straining continues or is accompanied by fever, irritability, or changes in urine color. Meanwhile, keep your baby cool and comfortable with light clothing.
