Offer small portions of food and give more only when she asks for more. Offer more finger foods. Offer different textures of foods. Ask your doctor whether any vitamin and zinc supplements can be given. Offer colourful foods like methi Ka parantha, beetroot halwa, gajar Ka halwa, etc. Offer foods in colourful plates or bowls and cut foods into different shapes using food cutters. This attracts the attention of the kid. Let the kid participate in the decision as what to cook. But as a parent, you should offer healthy and limited options. For example, do you want a paneer parantha or gobhi parantha? The family should eat all meals together so that the kid learns healthy eating habits from parents and siblings. Avoid distractions during meal times like TV, tablet, mobile phones, laptop etc.
