Q.

Hi. My son is not eating roti or paratha in dinner its been 2 months. He only eats roti in lunch sometimes. Is it ok that he eats only one time roti? I am very worried. Suddenly he stops chewing and eating anything chewable item. I have to mash apple and banana.

A. hi j qbabies at this age have identity of self, express their needs, refusals. try finger foods. many babies are keen on that. try changing menu altogether, give chunkier foods. all these phases typically occur in babies, do not worry. give all mashed , chunkier foods ,fruits to your baby. keep the timings same as your meal and snacks times, so it will be easy for you to prepare and feed. see child's likes and dislikes. do not forcefeed.

A. Give Rice or any other thing which is easy to swallow during the night time it is not necessary to give roti or Paratha both the times in a day if your child is happy eating it during the day time then change the menu in the night-time did something else for a change
