hi, my son is going to lkg this year. I feel there are lot of expectations from a school that the student should be well versed in basics. and I feel it is a kind of pressure kids undergo while they start the school. is it not right to let the child play and learn in lkg and ukg

That is because this is not the right age for your child to be in LKG this is the correct age for the child to go to play group a child is going to go to nursery by the age of four years 3 1/2 to 4 years and after that I will Gigi you have put your child into a very higher class as per the ageWrite Your Answer Here
