Q.

Hi. My son had a stomach infection 8 days back and he was continuously vomiting. we took him to the doctor and the doctor gave him an injection to stop vomiting and some medicines also. After3-4 days he was well but now from 2-3 days he totally stopped eating food. he is totally dependent on milk.He is refusing his favourite foods too. I am really worried that everything is well with my kid.

A. Vomiting can create discomfort into the tummy of the child and probably which is why this could be happening and I would recommend you to give more of liquids to the child during this time which is what is going to be beneficial and slowly as the child feels better than childhood resume to regular food

Q. Hello, My daughter fell on back of her head while crawling at 7.5 months. She was normal after that for 7-8 hrs and in the night she started vomiting. she vomitted continuously for 10-12 times. we took her to ER and doctor suggested for CT scan. The reports were normal and Dr concluded that it was stomach infection. But, I came to know from another doctor that having ct scan in baby girl may lead to cancer and hence, I am too worried. I am feeling guilty and overstressed since 7-8 months. can you please help to understand if one paediatric ct scan can lead to cancer.
