Q.

Hi, My question is regarding the vaccination of my 14weeks son. At 6 weeks, he was given penta, ipv, rota at gov hospital(vaccine brand unknown).Due to covid, I took him to the private hospital for 10weeks vaccination, where he was given with Pentavac PFS, rotasill liquid, opv and Synflorix pcv. Now, I have to take him for his 14weeks vaccination, I am not sure which vaccine I should give him among Pentavac PFS or Hexavalent as hexa has ipv and penta doesn't, and ipv is not separately available. Reading couple of questions and answers at firstcry parenting,i found that brands should not be changed so can anyone suggest me what is better for 14weeks vaccination?

A. brands can be changed but in guidance of the pediatrician only and in the current situation it is advisable to postpone all the vaccinations of the child because it is not safe for the child to be exposed in the condition of covid so better to to delay for few months
