Hi,my daughter is 7 years old, she had cough since last few days but right now the cough is better but not cured properly, and from yesterday she is complaining about rib pain in her right side while coughing or breathing and feeling uncomfortable while laying. What could be the reason behind this?? also she has continue dance practice going on her school because of annual day. please guide me I m worried 🙏

Actually coughing sometimes when it is heavy can lead to pain in the back and ribs also because they stretch it so far the cough so hard sometimes it happens so if your child is getting tired if it is possible for you just take a holiday let your child rest for a while and while lying on the bed also the body actually gets more uncomfortable and the coughing increases so keep your child to speak water reclining position that would be easier for the child to manage
