Q.

Hi my daughter is 4 years old she is not gaining weight what should I do? .... i consulted so many pediatrics but I didn't find any solution....

A. Hello mom kids almost by the age of 1 year they would triple their birth weight and then it takes about 5 years to double that up . The weight gain is not that very rapid as it was is the first year of life . Make sure over a period of time you introduce new variety and also increase the quantities of the food given to them

A. failure to thrive needs proper evaluation like blood test and TSH test etc for further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your doctor for physical examination and if there is need to do investigations also then only proper treatment can be given
