Hi, My daughter is 11 month old. She had fever last day's with 100.6 temperature (upto). After consultation with doctor, doctor given calpol. after two days now temperature are 98.6, 97, 99. What is the normal temperature? Note : We checked temperature in babies armpit

A. A normal temperature in babies and children is about 36.4C (97.5 F), but this can vary slightly. A fever is usually considered to be a temperature of 38C (100.4 F) or above.

A. good evening whenever you take the temperature on armpit you have to add one degree to arrive at the correct body temperature and it is alright till the time the overall temperature is 99 or less
