Hi! My baby is almost 4month old. Since last 4-5 days he is not taking breast feed properly. He start crying or getting cranky when I try to feed him. And coz of hunger he gets more cranky.
I have to distract him/rock/swing him and then he accepts. He takes it well when he is asleep.
His pee count and poop is normal.

Hey of you’re sure that your baby does not have gas/colic, please check if his/her nose blockage. Since babies breathe from their nose while feeding, a blocked/stuffy nose can cause discomfort and improper feed hence he/she gets cranky :)

But I am worried why doesn’t he accept breastfeeding? Why is he refusing

Crying of a Baby  is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which can be relieved by medicine like colicaid /gastica drops.
other reasons could be nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and more which needs tvbo be ruled out and managed accordingly .
