Q.
hi my baby is 9months old she is suffering from cold since 3 days little blood is coming from nose and mouth is it okay with it or else any problem

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to thec type of f cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

if there is blood it is usually because of over sneezing
but some home remedies I would suggest
keep a bowl full of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far over night
take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning
