hi my baby is 50 days old, her cord has not dried yet, it is still yet and some discharge is coming. pls suggest wat to do get dried

do not apply any home remedies like applying oil extra it may cause infection over the area
maintain proper hygiene

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. Allow the umbilical cord stump to be exposed to air. You should not pull or pick at the stump. It will fall off on its own within a few weeks of your baby's birth, and if it doesn't turn to your healthcare provider.
