Hi, My baby is 5 yrs 8 month old. We have observed few white patches in her body from past 4-5 months. earlier it was in her leg. now very small white patches in face and back. please suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application.
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem continues beyoxnd two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.
some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitividty, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.
