Hi my baby is 3 and half month old on her left hand she had a lump because of BCG injection. how long does the lump takes to go

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. bcg vaccination which is given at birth in the upper arm will form a swelling by one or maximum two months and then it will burst open and then pus will come out from it and after that it will become a scar marks.
you have to take medical consultation if it days causing pain fever and discomfort to the child.
also if the pus discsharge is increasing or aggravating again you have to meet the doctor and locally you can apply t bact cream.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. It may have puss building as well so I would just recommend you to get a check with your doctor because you may need to get it puncher and after that only the doctor is going to advise you with appointment to apply on that
