hi my baby is 23 months old he is doing total watery motions continously 3 days before he recover from cold cough and fever doctor given syrups now from 2 days he is having diarrhea suggest something please

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite .
supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose .
Antibiotics has ththeir role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
