Hi, my baby is 1yr old, her weight is 7.2 kg her birth weight is 2.5kg. She is active and walking now. Is the weight of the baby fine?

A. I’d Just like to say if I look at the birth weight of the child and the theory of paediatricians that the birth weight should be three times by the age of 12 months then it is appropriate but if I just generally go ahead as per WHO standards or normal weight of a child then it is 2 1/2 KG minimum of 10 kgs as of now
