Q.

hi my baby is 11 month old.. now he sit independently... but my elders in family said that it is necessary to place the baby on floor for further development and its the time for walking.. is it correct

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even lfonger but in no case ahny Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

A. Hello Can you give me a clarification on the thing as Ritu at what age did your child starts eating because a child should sit by the age of eight months and if your child has started sitting late then it is a matter of concern because yes your elders are right I am very when walk with support
