hi my baby is 1 MONTH old and as a flat head at back I am worried seeing it from side ways as it seems like big head I am using round pillow , mustard seeds pillow as well please suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Flat head in Babies is very commonly seen mostly on one side initially when the baby is not flipping on twlohe sides in the first few months . so because of the continuous pressure over the soft skull bones such flattening can be there . This normalises by itself gradually when the skull grows in size and shape with age .
No mustard seed pillow or any such kind of intervention like massage is required and doesnot help for the corrrection .there is nothing to worry at all.
