Hi. My baby is 1 and half month old and has blocked nose since a month now and I have been using saline drops SOS. But it seems this isn't getting any better and she has trouble sleeping and feeding. Can you please suggest something.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. baby is one and half month having blocked nose Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby

Use saline nasal drops
Give indirect steam inhalation
Wash hands often before touching your baby
Maintain hygiene
Maintain hydration
Give adequate feeding
Burp well after every feeding
BM contains natural antibiotics to cure infection like cold cough naturally
Consult your doctor once for proper medical examination and treatment
